The court heard the 27-year-old had used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a police officer harassment, alarm, or distress in Worcester between May 9 and 10.
Smith, of Dry Thistle Close, Bromyard, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay a £28 victim surcharge. No costs order was made due to his lack of means.
