For all those drivers looking to get out and about in Hereford today, here is a list of road closures and roadworks which could affect your journey.
- Overnight Lane closure in force tonight (Thurs 4) between 10pm and 6am on Victoria Street in Hereford, between the Edgar Street roundabout and Greyfriars Bridge, for works by Herefordshire Council.
- Advanced notice of multi-way traffic signals on the junction of Roman Road and the Canon Pyon Road to the north of Hereford. Expect delays in the area.
- Temporary closure of the A449 today from Chances Pitch to the Worcestershire boundary at British Camp.
- Two-way signals due to roadworks on the A417 from Newtown Cross to Whitwick Manor. Valid until Aug 9.
- Temporary closure order for Newtown Lane in Little Birch. Safe access required for Welsh Water to complete connection works.
- Traffic signals due to roadworks on the A438 at Whitney-on-Wye from Greenacres to the border with Powys.
- Two-way traffic signals due to roadworks on the A480 at Stretton Sugwas from Clifford House to Stretton Court Farm.
- Multi-way traffic signals are in place for the next four weeks, due to the installation of a new crossing outside St Mary's RC School in Lugwardine near Hereford. Expect delays in the area.
- Two-way traffic signals on Aylestone Hill in Hereford close to the junction with Venns Lane. In place until Aug 5.
- The C1098 in Madley, is closed for three days due to drainage works. Resident access within closure only.
- Hengrave Green in Ivington, is closed for four days due to works by Western Power Distribution. Resident access within closure only.
- Temporary 30mph speed limit in place through the village of Clehonger on the B4349.
- Stockenhill Road in Leominster will be partially closed or five days between 8 am and 5pm due to fibre broadband works.
- Barnet Lane and Hill Road in Wigmore are closed for 14 days.
