A HEREFORDSHIRE supermarket is on the lookout for superheroes to help them with a fundraising challenge.
Morrisons Leominster is calling on local shoppers and families to join them for their special ‘Superhero Week’ fundraiser from Monday, August 15 to Sunday, August 21, to raise vital funds for seriously ill children and their families.
Its mission is to support Together for Short Lives and the 99,000 seriously ill children and families across the UK.
Together for Short Lives is the only charity supporting the UK’s children’s hospices and families facing the heartbreak that their child will die young.

It is encouraging customers to join in with dressing up as their favourite superhero.
Every penny raised in store will help seriously ill children and their families.
It raises vital funds for children’s hospices across the country, helping families make precious memories, and reaching even more families caring for a seriously ill child.
Alice James Community champion from Leominster morrisons said: "This is our fifth fundraising event for Together for Short Lives and we’d love customers in Leominster to come and join us.
"We think families caring for a seriously ill child, and the children’s hospice care teams that support them are all superheroes.
"We’re so passionate here at Morrisons Leominster about supporting our local children’s hospice and we’d love to see our customers get in their superhero costumes and join us in our celebrations"
