A PERSON has been assaulted in a Herefordshire public toilet by a suspect wearing a scruffy white top.

West Mercia Police said it was investigating the attempted robbery at the public toilets at Dishley Street bus station in Leominster.

The victim had been near the toilets when the suspect approached and demanded money and the victim's wallet before punching them to the body.

Adam Stobbart said the attack happened on Sunday, July 24 between 6pm and 7pm.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male, in his late 20s to early 30s, around 6ft tall, of medium build and wearing a white scruffy top, blue jeans and white trainers.

OTHER NEWS:

Police would be keen to speak to a man who had been walking their small black dog through the bus station at the time of the attack as he may have witnessed something.
