UPDATE: Man found not guilty of Sainsbury's supermarket thefts
A MAN has been sent for trial accused of stealing thousands of pounds worth of toiletries from supermarkets in Herefordshire and Shropshire.
Patrick Stokes entered not guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 33-year-old is accused of stealing Nicorette gum, spray, and patches, and electric toothbrush heads, worth a total of £355 from Sainsbury's in Ludlow on June 4.

He is also accused of stealing Oil of Olay products worth £3,461 from Sainsbury's in Hereford on June 4.
Stokes, of Northern Close, Eccles, was sent for trial before Hereford magistrates on September 29.
