REGARDING the ‘huge 30-minute pub breakfast challenge’ in Ross-on-Wye.

Given the current increase in food prices, not to mention the amount of waste food this challenge is likely to create, this challenge can only be seen as a bad idea from all angles.

Are the proprietors not aware of the huge amounts of food wasted each week?

Equally, are they not aware that there is an obesity crisis in this country?

To encourage such gluttony when some people are struggling to put a decent meal on a plate beggars belief and anyone who actually succeeds in this challenge has nothing to be proud of.

I would suggest a rethink of their marketing strategy is urgently required.
