A HEREFORD man has been fined by magistrates after failing to turn up to appointments after his release from prison.

Adam Ryan Beavan was proven guilty in his absence by Kidderminster magistrates after entering a not guilty plea at a previous hearing.

The court heard the 28-year-old had failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison by failing to attend appointments and to maintain contact with his supervising officer.

Beavan, of Sherbourne Close, Hereford, was fined £83.
