Parking is set to be banned in a Hereford street for more than five months, Herefordshire Council has said.
In a public notice, the council said that roadworks would see a parking restriction come into force in St Owen Street from Monday (July 4).
It said the order would stop vehicles from parking between St Peter’s Square and the junction of Bath Street.
The parking ban is needed due to gas main works and to allow traffic to carry on using the road while maintaining a safe working zone, the council said.
The works are expected to be completed within 22 weeks.
