A MAN has died after being hit by at a level crossing over the Herefordshire border.
The incident happened at the level crossing in Jamaica Road, Malvern, this morning (Friday) at 9.27am.
British Transport Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
"Officers were called to the line in Malvern at 9.27am following reports of a casualty on the tracks,” said a spokesman for the British Transport Police.
"Paramedics also attended however, sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene."

This morning police asked people to stay away from the area while police dealt with the incident.
A police statement said: "Please avoid the area and we will provide further updates when we are able to."
The West Midlands Air Ambulance has attended the scene.
