A FORMER Hereford policeman has denied two counts of sexual assault.

Oliver Dines entered not guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford this morning.

The court heard the 31-year-old, who appeared wearing a blue suit, is accused of sexually touching a woman in Leominster without consent on October 7, 2020.

He is also accused of sexually touching a woman on Bromyard without consent on November 14, 2020.

The court heard the case is too serious to be dealt with by magistrates and the case was sent to the crown court for trial.

Dines, who is of Church Road, Hereford, will appear before Worcester Crown Court on July 20.
