A plan has been put forward for six new houses by a Herefordshire village.
The bid, by nearby resident Mr Willings, is for outline permission to build the six, all for market sale, on part of a field covering just under an acre by the village of Dilwyn Common.
The provisional plan is for two two-bedroom semi-detached houses, two detached homes with three bedrooms and a further two with four.
The development would have 14 car parking spaces and spaces for 14 bikes. It would require a new road entrance from Dilwyn Common Road.

The Dilwyn parish is required to take 45 new homes according to the county plan, the application says – of which 27 have yet to be completed or committed to.
“There is therefore a clear and unmet need for more housing in Dilwyn,” the application says.
The scheme will have “generous gardens and ample space for soft landscaping to integrate it into the built and landscape context”, it adds.
The partly culverted Puddle Brook runs between the main road and the site. To address any flood risk, the houses could be set back away from the flood risk area and their floor levels set higher than the field, it suggests.
Comments on the plan, numbered 221854, can be made until July 7.
