HEREFORD FC have to signed experienced forward Tyrone Barnett.

The 36-year-old forward has played for a host of Football League clubs including Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.

For the past three season Barnett has played for Eastleigh in the National League 32 goals in 117 appearances.

He is the first new face added to Josh Gowling's squad and joins the seven senior players retained from last season's squad.

Talking to the club's website Gowling said: "Ty has bags of experience which will help with some of the younger players, he is exceptional in the air and will bully defenders at this level, he offers a dimension that we have been missing.”
