New houses have been offically opened in a Herefordshire town by a royal visitor.
Noden's Mews in Waterworks Lane in Leominster, was officialy opened by HRH the Duke of Kent, in the presence of Herefordshire High Sheriff Sarah de Rohan and Herefordshire Council chairman Sebastian Bowen.
Children from Leominster Primary School and Earl Mortimer College also attended the opening.
Named after World War One veteran Malcolm Noden, the mews has been built with the help of and in order to house armed forces veterans in Herefordshire.

The project helps to provide new affordable homes to those that need it the most, in partnership with local councils and charities.
The mews is a collaboration between veterans charity Alabare Community Self Build, Herefordshire contractor J Harper and Son, and social housing provider Stonewater.
Noden's Mews was finished in December 2020, and on the completion of the project six veterans were able to move in, just in time for Christmas.
Matthew Crucefix, director of development at Stonewater said in 2020 on the completion of the project: "This has been an incredibly rewarding project for each of the veterans involved and we’re delighted to be handing the keys over to our new residents at Noden’s Mews."
