Also could understand that you put rubbish in a bin, not all up the A49.

The only recognisable benefit I can see for my £2,500 rates for two-bedroom bungalow is sporadic waste collection, and use of skip, although it is only twice a week and has to be booked!
If I have to pay in future [to take DIY waste to the tip], can I just stop paying my rates and use a private contractor cheaper?
