IN reply to Andy Preece’s letter, yes, we do need more good restaurants south of Wye.
Please, not burger bars, but good English food. We like being able to eat out in nice restaurants.
Why on earth are they proposing to turn the Three Counties Hotel into yet another supermarket? That is not what we want.

The hotel needs to become a nice place to eat. The road cannot take any more traffic.
If they were foolish enough to go ahead with putting Lidl there, they would have to create a roundabout, taking land from within the hotel site, otherwise, it would not be safe.
There are too many roads meeting there.
