A WATER bailiff has been banned from the roads after he was caught drug-driving in Herefordshire.
Kyle Hogan admitted drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
He was stopped behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia on the A465 at Allensmore at 3.20pm on November 23 and was arrested after failing a roadside drug test, which returned a positive result for cannabis, prosecutor Eleanor Peart said.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 6.6 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.

Phillip Cornell, for Hogan, said the 29-year-old had been through a difficult time recently due to a loss in the family and as he is a carer for his wife.
"He had a chequered start in life and has settled down, and cannabis is something use is something of a blast from the past," Mr Cornell said.
"He was going to a fishing pool in Tillington that day. He is a volunteer at a pool in Rumney where they do competitions and he is a water bailiff.
"He helps keep children off the streets and feels he does his bit. He cooperated with the police and just behaved irresponsibly on this occasion, which is out of character."
Hogan, of Hafod-y-Mynydd, Tredegar, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
