HEREFORD’S very first outdoor cinema festival is set to go ahead this summer.

Open Air cinema Hereford previously announced it will be screening a selection of films at Bishops Meadow from Friday, July 8, to Sunday, July 10.

Now it has released more details on what to expect.

On Friday Mamma Mia, which is a PG, will be shown from 5.30pm to 10.30pm.

On Saturday there will be multiple screenings - Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban from 12.30pm to 4.30pm, and Bohemian Rhapsody from 5.30pm to 10.30pm.

On Sunday there will be two more screenings - Jurassic Park from 12.30pm to 4.30pm, then Dirty Dancing will start at 5.30pm and finish at 10.30pm.

There will also be food trucks onsite that will serve hot drinks and concessions, but people can bring their own snacks and picnics.

A spokesperson from Open Air Cinema said: “We will be bringing you a little slice of culture, nostalgia, and immersive cinematic fun.

“Don’t forget whilst dressing up is optional there may be prizes given out to best dressed at the event.”

Tickets cost £7 for kids and £12 for adults plus booking fees and people need to bring their own seating.
