A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been nominated as a trustee by a nationally recognised body.
Chris Williams, from Leominster, who has also spent time on the board at Hereford Football Club, has been selected to become a trustee of the Chartered Institute of Building.
The CIOB is the professional body for the leadership and management of the construction profession and has some fifty thousand members worldwide.
Mr Williams, who is a chartered construction manager and fellow of the Institute, has been selected to serve on the board of trustees for a period of three years commencing in June 2022.

Mr Williams,said that when he started his career in construction in Ludlow, he was envious of his colleagues who were chartered.
He has achieved the goal that he set for himself, of becoming a chartered professional, and taken his construction project management skills into his second career as a construction academic leader.
Mr Williams said that becoming a trustee was the highlight of his career, and he hopes to use the knowledge and skills he has acquired through the years to advance the profession.
