A BMW driver has escaped a roads ban after he was caught breaking the limit in a Herefordshire village.
Christopher Lynden Hughes entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 48-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a BMW in a 30 miles per hour zone in Marden on September 21.

Hughes, of Whitehouse Close, Marden, was fined £200 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
No totting disqualification was made as a family member relies on him to take them to medical appointments and as he takes his child to school.
