AN ACCUSED man has been sent to the crown court after denying wounding a woman in Herefordshire.
Stephen Andrews entered a not guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 44-year-old is accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a woman without intent in Herefordshire on July 23.
The case was deemed to be too serious to be heard in the magistrates court, and was sent to Worcester Crown Court, where Andrews, who is of West Avenue, Caerphilly, will appear for a plea and case management hearing on June 1.
