A PENSIONER has appeared before magistrates in Hereford accused of child sex offences.
The court heard Dennis Short is accused of two counts of assaulting a girl under 13 in Hereford by touching on two occasions between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2013.
He is further accused of making one category A indecent moving image of a child between January 1, 2016, and October 18, 2019, making four category C indecent images of a child between July 19, 2016, and October 18, 2019, and making five category C indecent images of a child between January 1, 2016, and October 18, 2019.

The 74-year-old is also accused of voyeurism by recording another person doing a private act without their consent for his own sexual gratification in Hereford between July 19, 2016, and August 9, 2018.
Short, who appeared before the court wearing a black suit and white shirt, entered no plea to any of the charges.
The case was sent to Worcester Crown Court, where he will appear on June 1.
