A LEDBURY producer has triumphed in a battle to find the region's best apple juice.
Jus Juice has triumphed in theWest Midlands finals of the Tastiest Sausage and Apple Juice competition, held last Thursday in Birmingham.
Owners James and Jane Skittery won the tastiest apple (single cox variety) and breakfast juice sections in the contest, organised by Heart of England Fine Foods.
Judges were hardpressed to beat the flavours in both drinks, which contained handpicked cox and Discovery apples grown on their Aylton farm.
Another Ledbury firm, DT Waller & Sons, saw its pork, chilli and spinach sausage highly commended in the speciality sausage category.
