A HEREFORD Audi driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving in a busy street.
Georghe Podoleanu entered a guilty plea after previously pleading not guilty when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 21-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a silver Audi A8 in Hereford's Grandstand Road on January 1.

An evidential breath test revealed he had 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Podoleanu, of Blackfriars Street, Hereford ,was fined £432 and disqualified from driving for 18 months. He must also pay costs of £160 and a £43 victim surcharge.
