SNOW has hit the country, and Herefordshire has even seen a few flakes.
Short snow flurry were seen in Hereford and Bromyard this afternoon, but it seems the wintry weather was not set to last.
Just days ago, the county was bathing in brilliant sunshine, but temperatures have fallen this week, with Herefordshire waking up to a frost this morning.
And some parts of the country have seen a good amount of snow settling, with Scotland and eastern England receiving the most.
High ground on the Herefordshire borders has also seen snow settle.
The children at Michaelchurch Escley Primary and Pre-School, in the Golden Valley, were, understandably, very excited when they arrived at school this morning.
Deputy headteacher Gary Crocker said everywhere was covered with just enough snow for a snowball fight.
