A HEREFORD food festival has announced the dates for this year’s summer event after coronavirus forced its cancellation in 2021.

The music and street food-focused Hereford Indie Food festival will return over the August bank holiday (27 and 28) in Aubrey Street in Hereford.

Hosted by A Rule of Tum, the festival will be a mix of great musical talent, street food, and local produce all hosted right in the middle of Hereford.

A Rule of Tum is a group of restaurants in Hereford and Worcester owned by brothers Dorian and Edwin Kirk.

The festival will be held in their urban eatery and drinking area The Yard – a transformed car park behind their restaurants The Bookshop and The Burger Shop.

Last year, the organisers made the difficult decision to cancel, saying they felt restrictions meant the festival would not be the best it could be and to go ahead would be doing a disservice to Hereford.

Tickets are not currently available, but all enquiries should be emailed to hello@herefordindiefood.com.
