A LONG-SERVING “dedicated” manager at Herefordshire manufacturing firm says he is proud after receiving an award.

John Gough has completed 25 years’ service at manufacturing company ABT Loadmac in Ross-on-Wye.

John has had several roles at ABT from product manager to now his current position as purchasing manager, and a member of the senior management team.

Managing director Tim Morris presented John with his award.

John said: “I’ve seen the company grow massively over my time at ABT Loadmac, from making subcomponents for other companies to producing our own complete Loadmac forklift.

“I have been proud of being part of this transition and look forward to achieving a record 2022.”

Mr Morris said John is one of the corner stones of the business.

“He has helped us through some of the most difficult supply chain conditions over the past few years, maintaining a level head and good humour throughout.

“On behalf of everyone at ABT I want to thank him for his dedication and continued enthusiasm.”
