NINE roads in rural Herefordshire will be closed at times over an eight-week period for drainage investigation.

Herefordshire Council contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places would be closing the roads as part of its drainage investigation programme in January and February.

OTHER NEWS:

The closures, a public notice said, were needed due to the work and likelihood of danger to the public.

The diversion routes for each closure will be signposted locally, it added.
