MORE speeders have been up before the magistrates after they were caught on camera breaking the limit in Herefordshire.

Here are the latest Herefordshire speeders to go before the courts:

Andrew Kirby, 40, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Volkswagen driver Kirby had been caught speeding in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Pencraig on May 3.

Kirby, of Penbont Road, Talgarth, was fined £220 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Matthew Peter Crowell, 40, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Crowell had been caught breaking the 50 miles per hour speed limit on the A40 at Pencraig in a Ford on April 11.

Crowell, of Belle Vue Road, Cinderford, was fined £660, disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.

Christopher Plumb, 43, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Plumb had been caught speeding in a Land Rover in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A417 at Ashperton on April 29.

Plumb, of Chivers Road, Devizes, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs os £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.

Gethin Lear, 30, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Lear had been caught breaking the 50 miles per hour limit on the A40 at Pencraig on May 3.

Lear, of Ternata Drive, Monmouth, was fined £150 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
