HEREFORDSHIRE is waking up to a cold, wet, and windy morning today (December 8).
Having largely escaped the worst of Storm Barra yesterday, the county has today been hit by very wet conditions.

Forecasters at the Met Office said this morning would be cold and windy with some heavy showers.
Conditions may clear during the day, with bright or sunny spells and occasional showers throughout the day.
Rain showers will be most frequent in the afternoon, with some prolonged downpours in places, and will be mixed with hail at times, the Met Office said.
It will feel cold, especially in the wind, with a maximum temperature 6 °C.
Unsettled conditions will continue into the evening, with heavy downpours expected before becoming more scattered around midnight.
Strong winds are forecast but will ease by morning tomorrow, with a minimum overnight temperature of 2 °C.
