A HEREFORDSHIRE village has reopened its church after a big restoration with a celebration of life.
Kingsland, near Leominster, held a celebration on December 4 to celebrate the reopening of the parish church of St Michael's and All Angels.
The church has been closed since March whilst the work took place after the village received a £500,000 lottery grant to revive the village after the pandemic.
Saturday's event also celebrated life in Kingsland's community, with local groups from the village promoting their work and fundraising at the event.
On Sunday (December 5) the Bishop of Hereford Richard Jackson held a blessing at the church.
Treasures and Sons were the contractors completed the work on the church.
Hannah Vernon, project coordinator for the church's restoration, said her team pushed for apprentices to be involved to allow for a learning opportunity in the community.
