POLICE officers say they are very concerned about a missing Herefordshire man last seen in hospital this morning (Saturday).
West Mercia Police issued an urgent appeal for Darren Lewis, 38, who is from Ross-on-Wye.
Officers said he was last seen at around 10am at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, in Worcester, on Saturday and urged anyone who has seen him to call 999.
Describing Mr Lewis, police said he is 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, has a brown beard and was wearing dark jeans and a big cream coloured coat.
He was also wearing a t-shirt that says "Bear Grills" and may also have a hat and be carrying a rucksack, officers said.
They said he had family in Ross-on-Wye, but he does not know Worcester very well.
Police shared one picture from hospital CCTV with Mr Lewis wearing his cream coat.
In a second photo, police showed a clearer photo of his face, but said he now had a fuller beard now than when it was taken.
"We are very concerned for Darren’s personal and medical welfare and would ask that anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to please call 999 immediately," police said.
