Hereford's shops saw few people today as town remained eerily quiet this morning as Black Friday went ahead nationally.
Black Friday is an annual day of shopping picked up by Brits from the USA, when shops will have deals and cut prices.
It is always the Friday after the American celebration of Thanksgiving, which means this year it is today (November 26).
Shops in the Old Market include TK Max, H&M, Next and more but few advertised any deals for the big day of shopping in the run up to Christmas.
Fat Face, TK Max and H&M showed offers various deals but few customers were to be seen inside the shops.
It could be after the pandemic many are choosing to shop online to save themselves the journey or are supporting local businesses rather than the chains.
Footfall in High Town, and Widemarsh Street at 9.45am was also low and many shops either had a few customers or none at all.
