HEREFORD police have unveiled a fearsome haul of weapons, including a machete and gun, handed in to them.
They were surrendered for destruction to officers at the city’s police station earlier today (November 24).
The haul included a crossbow, sword, machete, and gun.
Police have been raising awareness this month as a part of Operation Sceptre – a week-long national campaign aimed at tackling knife crime to allow for safer streets.
A part of the campaign includes community weapons sweeps to ensure parks and public spaces are safe and encouraging people to hand over weapons to prevent future crimes from taking place.
