PARKING in two Herefordshire streets will be banned for up to 18 months to allow for roadworks to take place.

Ross-on-Wye has a temporary parking restriction in High Street (B4260) and Royal Parade (U70710) for a maximum of 18 months from tomorrow (November 24).

Balfour Beatty will be carrying out work to install of concrete support barriers.

The parking restrictions are in place to allow traffic to continue to use the roads whilst maintaining a safe working zone while the barriers are in place.

The work is expected to be completed in nine months.

However, Ross has other car parks available to use such as the pay and display car park in Kyrle St and the Corn Exchange car park in New Street.
