A HEREFORDSHIRE Audi driver has been handed a hefty fine after driving without due care and attention.
Timothy Barnard was found guilty by magistrates in Cwmbran after entering a not guilty plea.
The court heard the 60-year-old had driven an Audi A4 without due care and attention on the A449 in Newport on January 8.
Barnard, of Whitchurch, Herefordshire, was fined £610 and received eight penalty points. He must also pay costs of £85 and a £61 victim surcharge.
