IT WAS a busy evening for Herefordshire firefighters after calls to a bus and a house fire.
Crews from Bromyard, Leominster, and Kingsland fire stations were called to reports of a house fire at Stoke Prior at 5pm yesterday (November 8), a fire service spokesperson said.
Three breathing apparatus teams battled the blaze and cut away damaged material to stop the fire spreading further.
Crews from Hereford were called to a bus on fire at Broadward, just outside Leominster at 6.30pm.
On arrival, firefighters found the fire was in the engine compartment of the bus, which was on the main carriageway.
The road was closed while crews worked to put out the fire.
