  • It took until the 10th minute for the first talking point when Miles Storey looked to have beaten Loick Ayina for pace before being clipped, but no foul was given.
  • Moments later Boston responded and Tom Platt headed a corner wide.
  • The Bulls went behind on 17 minutes when a series of defensive mistakes led to Jordan Burrows capitalising and firing home the opening goal.
  • The Bulls were struggling to get a grip of their hosts in the first half and Joe Leesley saw an effort deflected wide.
  • Five minutes before the break Hereford came back into the tie and Owen-Evans saw his effort flash wide before also going close moments later.
