- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- The Bulls got off to the worst possible start when Alfreton took a third minute lead with Yusifu Ceesay breaking through before crossing for Bailey Hobson to slide home.
- However, after their early wobble the Bulls replied with Tom Owen-Evans seeing an effort blocked before then having a shot flash wide.
- Their best chance came on the 21st minute when an elegant chipped ball by Levi Andoh found Dan Smith who saw his effort saved from a tight angle by George Willis.
- On his first league start since returning from injury George Forsyth went down nastily under a challenge from Matt Rhead and was carried off the pitch.
- The Bulls deserved their equaliser on 41 minutes with Miles Storey latching onto a long ball before crashing it past the goalkeeper.
- However, the Bulls were level for just two minutes when Rob Evans found the net with his strike from outside the box.
- Goalkeeper Jake Wright then stopped Alfreton increasing their lead denying Hobson who was through on goal.
- At the other end Alfreton goalkeeper George Willis made a fine one-handed save to stop Dan Smith's headed effort at the back post.
- The Bulls were level on 62 minutes with Smith creating space before pulling the ball back for Storey to slide home.
- Hereford were in the ascendancy looking for a winner with Smith seeing a header loop over before being denied by a last ditch Josh Clackstone clearance moments later.
- However, it was Alfreton who struck again 1 1 minutes from time with substitute Elliott Reeves running through on goal before slotting past the goalkeeper.
- Luke Haines came on in injury time ready for a last ditch free-kick and was on hand to knock home the late equaliser when Dan Jones headed back across goal.
