A HEREFORDSHIRE restaurant and takeaway has been handed a one-star rating in the latest round of food hygiene inspections in the county.
Leominster's Shabagh Indian restaurant was handed the rating by Herefordshire Council's food hygiene inspectors after a visit last month.
Inspectors said food handling at the Burgess Street business was generally satisfactory but that improvement to the cleanliness and condition of facilities and buildings was necessary.
In a social media post, a spokesperson for the business said they were now compliant with the requirements, had addressed safety issues, and would be applying for inspectors to revisit the business, which is expected to take place in the coming months.
Major improvement was found to be needed in the management of food safety.
