A VAN driver was nearly three times the limit when he was caught behind the wheel.
Michael Du Cros entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard the 31-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Transit van while over the drink-drive limit at Burley Gate on October 15.
An evidential breath test revealed Du Cros had 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Du Cros, of Hazler Orchard, Church Stretton, was handed a 12-month community order and ordered to undergo a 12-month alcohol dependency treatment programme. He was also disqualified from driving for 24 months and must pay costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
