A HEREFORDSHIRE driver has been fined after he was caught travelling at 10 miles per hour over the limit.

He is among a number of speeders to appear before the magistrates in recent weeks.

Darryn James Clarke entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Newport.

The court heard the 41-year-old had been caught on manned equipment at 40 miles per hour in a 30 zone on Hereford Road in Monmouth on October 13.

Clarke, of Ewyas Harold, Herefordshire, was handed three penalty points and fined £283. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Danielle Nash was proven guilty by magistrates in Llanelli.

The court heard the 27-year-old had been recorded by laser at 41 miles per hour in a 30 zone on the B4560 in Llangorse on May 28.

Nash, of Canonford Avenue, Eardisley, was handed four penalty points and fined £440. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £44 victim surcharge.

Rohan Peter Tully was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 63-year-old had been caught by an automatic camera breaking the 30 miles per hour speed limit on Hereford's Belmont Road on January 11.

Tully, of Woodville Grove, Sutton St Nicholas, was disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending and fined £87. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Julie Elaine Rickards entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 64-year-old had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A417 at Ashperton by manned equipment on March 12.

Rickards, of Moorfield Street, Hereford, was handed six penalty points and fined £300. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge,
