THE OWNER of a garage in Herefordshire has said that he had changed the pricing board for ‘a bit of fun’

Motorists were shocked earlier today when the Top Garage in Bromyard was advertising unleaded at 198.9p per litre and diesel at 180.9p per litre.

Nigel Davies, one of the owners, said that the petrol station was still selling petrol for £1.38.9 pence per litre.

Mr Davies said that he changed the sign “as a bit of fun to prove nobody is actually looking at it.”

He said that the petrol station still has fuel.
