A THIEF has been up before the magistrates after stealing a tin full of cash.

Brian Woodward, of Etnam Street, Leominster entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Greater Manchester.

The court heard the 41-year-old had stolen a tin containing £150 from a woman's home in Salford between January 21 and 24.
