THE CORONER for Herefordshire has warned of the dangers of taking alcohol and drugs together.

James Brian Emery, aged 27, from Belmont Road in Hereford, died after taking 'not particularly high levels' of drugs and alcohol.

Emergency services were called to Mr Emery's property at 10.30am on March 12, 2021, after his friend had raised the alarm who had stayed the night at the property the previous evening.

Herefordshire coroner Mark Bricknell recorded a conclusion of alcohol related death.

"People should be aware of the concurrent effects of alcohol," said Mr Bricknell.
