I HAVE recently been a patient in Teme Ward in the Hereford County Hospital.

I felt I had to write to say a big thank you for the excellent care I had.

Although always very busy, nothing was too much trouble.

Everyone made time for you, the nurses dedicated to making you feel you are in safe hands.

I went into hospital feeling really ill and scared. What did I get? Reassurance, tests, MI scans, CAT scans and various others.

But at each one you were met with kindness, everything was explained so you knew what was happening.

When you were stressed you were helped.

In Teme Ward the catering was first class. The meals were always varied, served piping hot and enjoyable.

Supplied by the catering staff, helpful and with a smile.

The nurses cut up food and fed patients no matter how busy they were.

The porters were always smiling and wheeling you about when needed.

I could write so much more. I went into Teme Ward frightened and left feeling so much stronger and ready to face my ongoing treatment.

Thank you again Teme Ward I will not forget you or Hereford County Hospital.

I personally give all of you gold stars.
