A 'SIGNIFICANT' number of cannabis plants were found at a Herefordshire home, police have said.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said that a significant number of plants at various stages of growth were recovered today (September 19) from a home in the south Wye area.

Pictures show the plants were found in an outdoor polytunnel.

Police said they had received a number of reports with regard to suspicious activity including the smell of cannabis in the area before the find.
