- Lymington sent the Bulls a warning sign on four minutes with defender Tim Stephenson turning inside the box before rifling his effort just wide.
- Moments later young striker Owen Fee ran clear onto a through ball before tucking his effort under the goalkeeper.
- Bulls debutant and former Macclesfield Town defender Krystian Pearce lasted just 18 minutes after picking up an earlier knock he was taken off.
- The Bulls turned their fortunes around with two goals in the space of 60 seconds.
- Firstly on the 22nd minute Myles Storey put the Bulls level after a decent move saw Ryan Lloyd find the forward unmarked in the box.
- Straight from the kick-off Storey ran at the Lymington defence before finding Tom Owen-Evans who put the visitors ahead.
- Storey was causing Lymington a host of problems and could have put the visitors out of sight on 35 minutes but flashed his effort wide.
- Ross Casey in the Lymington goal was being kept busy before the break making a string of saves with his best coming down low to deny Mitch Hancox's effort.
- Early in the second half Lymington goalkeeper Casey was forced back into action this time denying an effort by Maziar Kouhyar.
- The Bulls were guilty of being too casual in the second half and the hosts took advantage of a defensive mistake.
- Luke Haines got caught on the ball rushing it to Ben Pollock who slipped and Harry McGrath took advantage finding the bottom corner.
- With 15 minutes left on the clock Lymington had two opportunities to go ahead.
- Firstly McGrath sent a powerful effort low towards goal which was picked out the bottom corner by goalkeeper Brandon Hall
- Moments later Nathan Hurst sent a header just wide of the mark from a corner.
- With four minutes left on the clock midfielder Ryan McLean had the chance to win it for Hereford cutting inside the box before sending his effort wide.
- Hereford debutant Ollie Hulbert was almost the hero flicking his header from a Luke Haines throw-in towards goal only for Casey to save.
