A HEREFORDSHIRE trespasser has appeared before magistrates after failing to leave a country estate.
Frederick John Farrow, admitted one count of aggravated trespass after previously pleading not guilty when he appeared before magistrates in Gwent.
The court heard the 48-year-old had been ordered to leave the Hilston Park outdoor education facility, set in a country house and estate near Skenfrith on May 4.
But he had failed to do so as soon as practicable, magistrates were told.
The country estate education facility, which had been run by Monmouthshire Council, was closed down in 2020 due to cost pressures and sold at auction in March this year.
Farrow, who gave a 'care of' address in Herefordshire, was discharged conditionally for 12 months. He must also pay costs of £200 and a £22 victim surcharge.
