Today is National Guacamole Day, and our reporter Hattie Young offered up her home-made version of the Mexican dip to the rest of the Hereford Times team.

This is their verdict:

Although, the dodgy colour left some doubt, the taste came through and the team were pleasantly suprised.

Recipe:

1 avocado (mashed)
1/2 a tomato (chopped)
1/2 a red onion (chopped)

1/4ย of a lime
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp chilli flakes (depending how spicy you like it)
1/2 tbsp olive oil
Mix and you have guacamole!
