Herefordshire super-slimmers: before and after pictures

Many Herefordshire based members stuck with their journey throughout lockdown and have beaten the national pattern, losing 321 stone in August.

Herefordshire hold 43 weekly sessions within 12 different groups which aim to help and support everyone who is trying to lose weight.

They have stayed in control, maintained, or lost weight and come out of lockdown lighter than when they started.

Team Developer for Hereford Jo Diggle is proud of Herefordshire slimmers.

"I have given out two five-stone loss awards to my members in the last fortnight, and local colleagues have awarded a 5.5-stone, a nine-stone and even an incredible 11-stone loss certificate," she said.

"That is totally life changing and hugely inspiring."

The weight loss company looks at individuals joining a group guided by a consultant who's been trained to help members develop strategies to make changes that stick.

Hereford member and nurse 39-year-old Sarah Wynter had struggled with her weight but after 51 weeks. She achieved her five-stone award.

"The power of the collective, the inspiration, ideas and motivation is like a weekly battery charge for your motivation and focus.

"My manager even pops into extra groups to borrow new recipe ideas as we really are slimming groups for foodies," said Jo Diggle.

All Herefordshire groups are back for face-to-face support and weekly IMAGE Therapy and are enrolling new and returning members in every single session.

There are programmes for young people, for those with diabetes and for those embarking on parenthood through their affiliation
